We recently returned from our annual summer trip to western NY to visit Anthony's family. It was a great trip and so fun to see everyone and for everyone to meet miss O for the first time. And it was a nice week away from the 100+ degree temps we are having in Dallas.
Going to the falls never gets old!
On the way there, I flew with Olivia by myself and she for the most part, she did great! The first 45 minutes was a bit touch-and-go but once she settled into her environment she quickly fell asleep and/or chatted/smiled with the people around us. There are no non-stop flights from Dallas to Buffalo, so I was a little nervous that we'd make our connection. I certainly didn't want to be stuck in the Cleveland airport with a crawling 8 month old! Thankfully we made it to Buffalo on time but I was definitely exhausted after the 7 hour journey. Going through security was a bit of a pain but there were several people who helped this mamma out!

This girl absolutely loved being in Canada! She sat straight up in her stoller, looking and waving at all the people walking by. She is still such a social butterfly! And btw, when did my daughter get SO BIG?!? She looks huge in her stroller...

Anthony's grandparents have a GREAT house and backyard. We spent lots of time hanging out with all the family at the house and Olivia was a little party animal. She stayed up way past her bedtime, skipped a few naps here and there, and basically did whatever she wanted...but hey, isn't that what summer vacations are all about?!?

I absolutely love the family I married into and love how much fun we all have together! Can't wait for next year (or maybe Christmas) when we are all together again!!
