i thought i would share with my readers a few of favorite things you will find in my kitchen. i absolutely love to cook/bake and i spend a good amount of time in my kitchen. although, i have lots more staple items, these are some of my absolute favorite.
i have been loving the new line at target--liberty of london--such adorable patterns! i have recently purchased these new cereal bowls. at $2.50 a bowl, how could i resist?!? i hope this line sticks around for a while because i am definitely a fan!
this is a classic 12" cast iron skillet; the more you use it and longer you have it, the better flavor you get on your foods. i use this for alomst everything--cooking meats (gets great browning), sauteing veggies, pan sauces, etc. if you don't have one, you should get one--it's worth the $20 investment cause you'll have it forever
anthony's grandmother hand wrote several of her family favorite recipes and gave it to me at my wedding shower. i never thought i'd come close to learning how to make all the wonderful meals in here, but now they are also some of my favorite meals: spaghetti sauce & homemade meatballs, paella, london broil, pastillos, tostones and pitzelles are just a few! i love the italian and puerto rican foods!
i use my kitchen aid mixer ALL the time. i love the different attachments and it makes it easy to multi-task in the kitchen
almond butter is a must! great for sandwiches, in oatmeal, on toast or a bagel or just straight out of the jar
these cards tell me different measurement equivalents, meat tempatures, etc.--love that i don't have to think, they just give me the answers!
